Domesticus vulgaris

The music and dance project "Domesticus vulgaris" or "Plain Domestic" was inspired by the solo albums of musical family "Cinkuši", "Green scene" and "Domesticus vulgaris" and the animated film "Ciganjska" by Marko Meštrović and Davor Međurečan.

Each song in the performance of "Cinkuši" becomes a motivation to dance, giving it not only a motive for physical movement, but it bestows a special semantic component creating a distinctive "corpus poeticum ", which consciously or unconsciously becomes a genuine source of contemporary folk movement.
