Liberdance Dance Company has been organizing "Summer Dance Workshop" in Pula in cooperation with Istria National Theatre and International Youth Theatre Festival (MKFM) since 1998. The workshops host theatre and dance teachers and choreographers from Croatia and from abroad. So far some well known dance teachers have participated in the Festival, for example Marco Luly from Italy, Katsura Kan from Japan, John Nobbs and Jacqui Caproll from Australia, Gabriel Castillo from Great Britain, Nienke Reehorst and Keren Levi from Netherlands, Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola, Renate Graziadei and Arthur Staldi from Germany, Jorge Vazquez from the USA, and Inaki Azpillaga from Spain.

We start the 11th Summer Dance Workshop with a domestic dance power, Matija Ferlin, who has been recognized and present at the international dance scene for some time now, and on this occasion we wish to get to know his work better. After Matija Ferlin, we have a very well-known and very current persona at the European contemporary dance scene, Damien Jalet. And, at the end, there is already a well-known Jorge Vazquez who is coming to Pula for the third time on the explicit request from the participants. Those who still have not taken our jazz and modern dance workshop can see for themselves why he is coming for the third time.
