The Dance Company "Liberdance" was founded in 1979 by Rajko Pavlić, who is also its artistic director. Dance-and-education and art-and-creative components prevail in teh work of the Company.

Every year the Company organizes already traditional ''Summer Dance Workshop'' in cooperation with the Istrian National Theatre, particularly the International Youth Theatre Festival in Pula.
