CLASS DESCRIPTION
The workshop is based on release technique, with the emphasis on the exploration of the movement initiated from the bones, which enables efficient use of the body by freeing the body of useless tension. Class begins by preparing the body for the movement through space. It is based on the release exercises which enable individual exploration of your own skeletal structure. By using the support of the skeleton we organize body connections through detailed work on searching for clear directions and different initiations of the movement. Work on floor is also included, where we will deal with different forms of support and articulation. By adopting these principles of movement we accumulate dance material through dynamic sequences and, at the same time, exploring the efficiency of the body in movement and its relationship with the space.

The workshop lasts for 2 hours. / Price: 100 EUR.
Dates: 26-30 July 2010 at 12:30 pm
